CENTER, TX – Pine Grove Nursing Center is shifting into celebratory gear after being officially named a Five-Star Facility by Medicare.gov. To mark this elite recognition, the center is hosting its first-ever Five Star Car Show on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
This rating places the Center, Texas facility in rare company. Only about 10% of nursing homes nationwide earn a Five-Star designation, and Pine Grove currently stands as the only Five-Star facility within a 65-mile radius.
The Five-Star quality rating system is the highest level of recognition for nursing facilities, evaluated on several critical categories:
• Quality of Care: Performing consistently above national standards.
• Staffing Levels: Maintaining a team of qualified health professionals.
• Health Inspections: Achieving excellent results in rigorous safety and health evaluations.
• Resident Satisfaction: Maintaining a proven track record of safety and personalized care.
The upcoming car show at 246 Haley Dr. is designed to share this achievement with the local community. The event is open to "everything with wheels," including classic cars, antiques, lifted trucks, and new models. Attendees can expect a festive afternoon featuring local food trucks, music, and games.
