Tyler County Fugitive Arrested Near Fred After Deputies Spot Suspect Walking Along FM 92

FRED, Texas — A Tyler County man with multiple active warrants was taken into custody Sunday afternoon after deputies spotted him walking along a roadway near Fred.
According to a press release from the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were patrolling the Fred area around 4:30 p.m. on March 1 when they observed a man walking south along Farm-to-Market Road 92.
Deputies recognized the individual as Victor Reese Jr., 48, of Fred, who they knew had several active warrants for his arrest.

Authorities made contact with Reese and confirmed his identity before placing him under arrest. He was transported to the Tyler County Jail without further incident.
Reese is facing several charges tied to Tyler County warrants, including:
Felony Deadly Conduct
Violation of Court Orders
Two counts of Terroristic Threat
Criminal Trespass
According to the sheriff’s office, Reese remains in the Tyler County Jail with bonds totaling $85,000, which were set by Justice of the Peace Tina Self.
The arrest was confirmed in a statement released by Tyler County Sheriff Bryan Weatherford.
As with all criminal cases, the charges are allegations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
