SPURGER / FRED, Texas — A routine traffic stop in the Spurger and Fred area resulted in felony narcotics arrests earlier this week, according to the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were patrolling the area around 10:15 p.m. on February 10 when they stopped an Oldsmobile passenger vehicle on Farm to Market 92 South at County Road 4565 for a traffic violation. Authorities identified the driver as Lawanda Gonzales, 42, of Kirbyville. While speaking with deputies, Gonzal
